About the workshop
Spark your child’s creativity with our exciting Kids Clay Club, where fun and clay collide for an unforgettable time!
Say goodbye to screens and hello to hands-on fun! From adorable animal bowls to crazy monster mugs, there’s no limit to what your child can create. Every moment is a chance for your kids to express themselves and make memories to last a lifetime.
This is a 90 minute hand-building pottery workshop, designed for ages 8 to 13 years and bursting with opportunities to let their imaginations soar.
The cost of the workshop includes clay, use of tools, the glazing and firing of your child's finished piece.
Your child's finished piece will be glazed in my studio white glaze and fired for you to collect from my studio based in Prestwick around 4-6 weeks later. If you're not local to the area, shipping can be arranged.
Parents are welcome to buy a ticket if they would like to join in the workshop with their child, but it’s not a requirement for you to stay. While your little makers get creative, feel free to head off to do your own thing or hang out to soak in the creativity.
What your child will learn: I will teach your child the fundamentals of pinch potting a bowl/mug, taking them you through the process of how to create the shape, add a handle and decorative options.
What your child will make: One bowl, mug, or clay monster.
What should your child bring: You don't need to bring anything with you, all materials are provided, but please make sure they are wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty (clay will wash out).

Cancellation: Any cancellations made within 14 days of the lesson date cannot be refunded, however, I will do my best to find an alternative date to reschedule.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling your Pottery Workshop is free of charge when done with more than 48 hours' notice. However, rescheduling within 48 hours will incur a £40 reschedule fee.
Finished items: I will take great care to ensure your pieces makes it through the entire process, however, due to the nature of ceramics there remains a risk it might not survive. I cannot be held responsible for any undesirable outcomes, including cracking, chips, misfires or explosions.
Safety: I am not liable and cannot be held responsible for any accidents to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions. By completing your purchase, you are confirming that you have read, understood and agree to my terms and conditions.
