Our Make A Mug workshops were the very first hand-building workshops I created for Sayge and ones that I have hosted many times over the following years. Designed to be completely beginner-friendly, I wanted them to feel like more than just a pottery class. My aim was to create an evening where people could step away from the outside world, settle into a beautiful, cosy space, sip a glass of prosecco and enjoy making their own personalised mug that they would genuinely use every day.
After the workshop, I would glaze and fire each piece before it was ready to be collected a few weeks later. It didn't matter if you came on your own or with friends, everyone was encouraged to slow down, get creative and enjoy the process rather than worry about making something perfect. It's a workshop I still love hosting today.

Cancellation: Any cancellations made within 14 days of the lesson date cannot be refunded, however, I will do my best to find an alternative date to reschedule.
Finished items: I will take great care to ensure your pieces makes it through the entire process, however, due to the nature of ceramics there remains a risk it might not survive. I cannot be held responsible for any undesirable outcomes, including cracking, chips, misfires or explosions.
